VSAT communication service refers to transmit the voice, data, multimedia communication and other services between the central station and VSAT terminal users (earth stations), and among VSAT terminal users themselves, with using satellite transponders, and controlled by VSAT communication system central station.
VSAT is literally translated as "Very Small Aperture Terminal", and the actual meaning should be "Very Small Antenna Earth Station". It also has other names, like satellite communication earth station, micro earth station or small earth station. It is a satellite communication system developed in the mid 1980s. .VSAT is widely used in news, meteorology, aviation, air defense, banking, petroleum, earthquake and military departments as well as remote area communication. A VSAT network can generally accommodate 200 to 500 stations, and there are broadcasting, point-to-point, two-way interactive, collection and other application forms.
I. For the management of water conservancy construction, monitoring hydrological changes, preventing and reducing the loss of natural disasters. The VSAT system can transmit the information obtained by meteorological satellites, marine satellites, resource satellites and ground detection stations in time.
